Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026.
This policy explains how Ript collects, uses, and shares information across ript.fun and related products, including the Card Scan mobile apps (Google Play package com.ript.fun and Solana dApp Store / Seeker package com.ript.cardscan).
Who this covers
- Visitors and account holders on ript.fun
- Partners using Inventory / API products
- Operators using the Card Scan mobile app
Information we collect
- Account / wallet data on the web: wallet addresses, display names, and related session data when you sign in.
- Usage data: basic product analytics and logs needed to operate the service (for example API request metadata).
- Support messages you send to hello@ript.io.
- Card Scan photos: front and back images of trading cards you capture with the device camera. By default scans stay on the device. If you enable Cloud storage and provide a studio API key, images may be uploaded over HTTPS to Ript studio object storage for inventory workflows.
- Card Scan settings: preferences such as storage mode and API base URL, plus an optional studio API key stored in the device secure store.
How we use information
- Provide and improve Ript products
- Authenticate partners and operators
- Store and organize card scan images for inventory operations when cloud sync is enabled
- Prevent abuse, bill partners, and provide support
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Card Scan data for advertising.
Sharing
We use infrastructure processors (for example cloud hosting and object storage) to run the product. Card Scan cloud uploads go to Ript-controlled studio storage. We do not sell scan images to data brokers.
Permissions (Card Scan)
Card Scan requests these Android permissions, and only for the features below:
- Camera: photograph cards on the stand.
- Internet: sign in, sync a collection, and upload scans when cloud storage is turned on.
- Storage (Android 12 and earlier): read and write external storage so the app can save and open scan images on those versions. On Android 13 and later, scans stay in app-private storage, and exporting originals uses the system folder picker. The app does not request broad photo-library access on Android 13 or later.
- Vibration: haptic feedback while capturing and using controls. Vibration does not collect information.
Card Scan does not request microphone, location, or display-over-other-apps access.
Retention and deletion
On-device Card Scan data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling. For cloud-hosted scans or account data, email hello@ript.io to request deletion. We may retain limited records required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Children
Ript and Card Scan are not directed at children under 13. Card Scan is intended for adult operators and inventory staff.
